Overview

The Bolt Storm Caster is one of the strongest DPS builds in Shiba Story Go. It focuses on stacking Stormlord skills to unlock the Aftershock capstone and then amplifying bolt damage through legendaries and mythics. The core loop is: fire bolts -> trigger Storm Clouds AoE -> Aftershock stuns -> Charged Bolt burst.

Core Skills (Priority Order)

  1. Bolt Strike (Common) - Your foundation. Unlocks bolt attacks after regular attacks.
  2. Bolt Mastery (Legendary, S) - Massive bolt damage multiplier (+60%).
  3. Storm Clouds (Legendary, S) - Gives bolts a chance to deal AoE damage. Build-defining.
  4. Charged Bolt (Mythic, S+) - 30% chance for super bolts. Enormous damage increase.
  5. Aftershock (Mythic, S+) - Stormlord capstone. Bolt shock +3% and may stun enemies.
  6. Bolt Surge (Legendary, A) - Additional bolts per attack. More bolts = more Storm Cloud procs.
  7. Limit Shatter (Legendary, B) - Bolt counter that reduces enemy burst gauge.

Supporting Skills

  • Crit Mastery (Legendary, S) - Bolts can crit, making this very strong.
  • Combo Mastery (Legendary, S) - More attacks = more bolt procs.
  • Chain Arc (Common, B) - 25% chance for bolts to strike again.
  • Bolt Volley (Common) - Cast bolt every round for consistent procs.

Expertise Path

Stack Stormlord tags. Bolt Strike, Bolt Volley, Chain Arc, and bolt legendaries all give Stormlord tags. At 5 Stormlord tags, Aftershock becomes available.

Strategy Tips

  • Rush bolt tag skills early to unlock Aftershock by mid-game.
  • Storm Clouds + Bolt Surge is the bread-and-butter combo. Each bolt independently rolls for Storm Cloud, so more bolts = exponential AoE scaling.
  • Aftershock stuns give you crowd control on top of massive damage.
  • Don’t sleep on Limit Shatter - burst gauge reduction keeps you alive against tough bosses.
  • In Raids, this build excels at clearing waves quickly.

Tier Rating: S+

One of the best DPS builds in the game. Bolt scales incredibly well with Charged Bolt and Storm Clouds creating exponential AoE. Aftershock stuns give reliable crowd control on top of massive damage. Lightning is simply one of the strongest damage types in 1.22.
