Individual Relics — Slot-by-Slot
Each slot rolls a different primary stat. The slot determines what stat the relic can have — this is not random across slots. Within a set, these relics are ranked from most to least impactful:
Wellspring Tooth S+
Primary: Random: Crit, Crit DMG, Magic Crit, Magic Crit DMG
RNG primary. Hunt for Crit DMG (physical) or Magic Crit DMG (caster).
DPS: Best-in-slot — only relic that can roll offensive crit primaries.
Tank: Low — crit primaries wasted on tank builds.
Wellspring Watch S
Primary: ATK (flat)
Fixed primary. Always rolls flat ATK.
DPS: Raw ATK multiplies everything. Second-best slot.
Tank: Medium — ATK still helps counter/reflect builds.
Wellspring Cup A
Primary: Random: Combo, Combo DMG, Counter, Counter DMG, Rage
RNG primary. Build-dependent — Combo DMG for melee, Counter for tanks.
DPS: Great for Berserker/Bladedancer combos.
Tank: Great — Counter and CounterDmg are tank scaling stats.
Wellspring Seed A
Primary: Random: Dodge, Dmg Reduction, Skill DMG
RNG primary. Hunt for Skill DMG (caster) or Dodge (tank).
DPS: Skill DMG primary is strong for casters.
Tank: Great — Dodge and Dmg Reduction are premium defensive stats.
Wellspring Lantern C
Primary: HP (flat)
Fixed primary. Always rolls HP.
DPS: Low — pure survival stat.
Tank: Core — flat HP is your #1 scaling stat.
Wellspring Tablet D
Primary: DEF (flat)
Fixed primary. Always rolls DEF. Lowest priority for all builds.
DPS: Skip — DEF is the lowest-impact stat.
Tank: Medium — DEF helps but flat DEF scales poorly late.
Upgrade Priority
Since a 4-piece set only needs 4 of 6 slots, skip the two weakest slots and invest in the four that matter for your role:
DPS: Tooth → Watch → Cup → Seed. Skip Lantern and Tablet.
Tank: Lantern → Cup → Seed → Watch. Skip Tooth and Tablet.
Heal: Lantern → Seed → Watch → Cup. Skip Tooth and Tablet.
The two leftover slots are where you equip your 2-piece secondary set — since you're not investing in those slots for your main set, the 2pc stat bonus from a second set is free value.
Set Pairings (4 + 2)
You have 6 relic slots. A 4-piece Wellspring fills 4 of them — the remaining 2 slots should hold pieces from a second set for a free 2-piece bonus. Since both leftover slots are your weakest for Wellspring anyway, you lose nothing.
4pc Wellspring + 2pc Iron Fortress
DEF to survive AoE. Healers die first in late raids without mitigation.
4pc Wellspring + 2pc Eagle Eye
HP pool + Burst economy. Burst-gated heals fire faster.
4pc Wellspring + 2pc Grizzly Might
HP pool + ATK ramp. For damage-healer hybrids.
When to Commit
- 2-piece: Free to run early — equip any 2 relics from the same set for the stat bonus. No upgrade investment needed.
- 4-piece: Commit once you've identified your main build and have 4 pieces at 3+ stars. Upgrading a 4pc in the wrong set is the most expensive mistake in the game because relics can't be refunded.
- Star priority: 4-star relics have significantly higher stat rolls (up to ~50% more than 3-star). Wait for 4-star in your two best slots (Tooth + Watch for DPS) before heavy investment.
